Packing and Loading

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Removals this week. As I suspected loading took more than the two days allowed. It was fortunate that completion on the house sale in London didn’t happen when planned as this became the final day of loading.

Margie and I had packed almost everything except the breakables, it had been a huge undertaking as everything was to go and there was so much. One large London house holding a lifetime’s memories and accoutrements for our many interests and activities. During the preceding two months the house was full of half sorted piles and boxes. Dance shoes next to a loom, computer cables piled beside DIY equipment, cooking equipment, paintings, DIY equipment, cracker and jewelry making bits and pieces, the piano, and all the sewing fabrics, notions and machines. There was also all the various garden related tools not to mention all the plants and tubs which included some huge Vietnamese pots.

As if that wasn’t enough we also had to pack up all the items held in a large storage unit from the days of The Tango Club. This was in a no frills storage facility off the Old Kent Road, this included all sorts of kitchen equipment, cabinets and sofas that we hoped to use in our new project.

This week none of us got much sleep![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_btn title=”How it all started” style=”custom” custom_background=”#deead0″ custom_text=”#666666″ link=”url:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tormantil.com%2F2017%2F01%2F10%2Fhow-it-all-started%2F|title:Find%20out%20how%20it%20began…|”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
